Living Science Center at River Legacy is Having a Makeover

A makeover is underway at the popular Living Science Center at River Legacy Park that will include two 800 gallon aquariums for native species. Also included will be a forest habitat displaying 6 terrariums, a replica of dinosaur fossils found in Arlington and native American artifacts. Work is expected to be completed by May 23rd. "Big Shot" at Cowboy Stadium.

Cowboy Stadium fans, be one of the 5,000 volunteers willing to be a part of the Guinness World Record Book for the most people involved in a photograph. Rochester Institute of Technology's School of Photographic Arts and Sciences will set up its annual "Big Shot" light painting event at the stadium Marh 23rd, come rain or come shine. The "Big Shot" is a family-friendly free event, celebratig it's 28th year. Participants must register by Monday, March 18th at www.rit.edu/bigshot.

Registered volunteers should arrive at the stadium no later than 7:30 PM and bring a flashligh or camera flash unit. Black or dark clothing and comfortale shoes should be worn.
