The Annual Hatch Chili Festival will heat things up in Downtown Arlington. Fiery food lovers can satisfy their need for the season’s best from 8:00 am – 1:00 pm Fri August 23rd and Saturday August 24th (or until the supply runs out). Shoppers can choose between raw Hatch Chili's, or peppers that will be roasted that day at the Farmers Market. I’m going just to smell the roasting peppers. Of course I’ll buying a bunch to make some posole, green chile, heck I could put green chiles on almost anything.
New Mexico Hatch Chili's are only available for 6 weeks each year during the months of August and September so don’t miss your opportunity.
